Tourists can enjoy bathing in the sun or take a dive and snorkel underwater to catch a glimpse of the diversified marine life surrounding the island.

For adventure seekers, Mount Kinabalu offers thrill seekers a daunting task of scaling the highest mountain in South East Asia. Situated on the northern tip of Borneo, Mount Kinabalu is more than 4000m above sea level. The peak is located within a national park known as Kinabalu National Park. Climbers are required to be in good physical condition to reach the summit while being accompanied by a guide. Along the way, tourists can catch a glimpse of the wide array of wildlife around them. This includes the largest flower on Earth, the Rafflesia flower and over 300 species of birds.


Malaysia is also home to a few one-off special events happening across the country. For race car enthusiast, the Formula One race at "Sepang" is an event not to be missed. There are also a few annual music festivals not be missed. These include the Rainforest World Music Festival happening at the Sarawak Cultural Village in Kuching and also the International Jazz Festivals happening at Miri, Penang and Kota Kinabalu.
